Commitment to Public Service

At Maxfield Gunning, LLP, we are passionate about community service and living in a just and dignified community.

Eric Maxfield is committed to public service with a focus on solutions to homelessness, access to justice, and access to healthcare. Eric proudly serves as Board Chair at the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, a nonprofit where he worked on staff through the 1990s. The Shelter’s mission is to create avenues to stable housing for our community’s homeless adults, from a foundation of supportive and safe shelter. www.bouldershelter.org.  Eric also volunteered at a Domestic Relations Post-Decree Clinic in Adams County from 2013-2018, where he assisted individuals experiencing domestic violence with custody and support issues.
